กฎ 2 ข้อ ของนักศึกษาแพทย์

เข้าเรียนวิชากายวิภาควิทยาเป็นครั้งแรก กับศพจริงซึ่งเป็นร่างกายของชายผู้เสียชีวิตแล้ว

นักเรียนทุกคนล้อมรอบโต๊ะผ่าตัด ซึ่งมีร่างศพคลุมด้วยผ้าผืนสี ขาว

ศาตราจารย์ได้เริ่มการสอนโดยกล่าวกับ

นักศึกษาแพทย์ศาตร์ทั้งหลายว่า ในวิชาแพทย์ศาสตร์

มีเพียง 2สิ่งสำคัญที่จะทำให้ท่านนั้น

มีคุณสมบัติเป็นแพทย์ที่มีคุณภาพได้ คือ

ข้อแรก... "มันเป็นความจำเป็นที่ท่านจะไม่ขยะแขยง" ศาตราจารย์ได้เปิดผ้าคลุมขึ้นและยัดนิ้วเข้าไปในรูทวารหนักของศพ

แช่ไว้และเอานิ้วออกมา เขาดูดให้นักเรียนดู ศาตราจารย์กล่าวกับนักเรียนว่า

"เอ้า ! เร็ว นักศึกษาจงทำ!!" นักศึกษาแพทย์ต่างกลัวในเหตุการณ์ที่วิตถารเช่นนี้

แต่ภายหลังต่างก็หันมาผลัดกันยัดนิ้วของตนเข้าไปที่ทวารหนักของศพ และนำมาดูดหลังจากเอานิ้วออกมา

ครั้นเสร็จสิ้นจนครบทุกคน,

ศาตราจารย์เพ่งไปที่นักเรียนแพทย์และกล่าวขึ้น... คุณสมบัติของแพทย์ที่ดี...

ข้อที่สอง..คือ ต้องเป็นคนช่างสังเกต...เมื่อกี้อาจารย์เอานิ้วกลางยัดเข้าไป แต่อาจารย์ดูดที่นิ้วชี้

When Low Cholesterol Isn't Enough: Assessing Options for Managing Residual Risk

Women who received fenofibrate appeared to have an increase in CVD events. This gender difference was not found in the Fenofibrate Intervention and Event Lowering in Diabetes (FIELD) trial.
